Security update: Your website is being protected

On 21 October, critical security vulnerabilities affecting PHP, the technology behind WordPress and many other websites, required urgent action across the hosting industry.

Castlegate IT worked closely with our hosting providers to prepare for the necessary security updates. Importantly, our hosting partners and Cloudflare implemented additional firewall protections before the security patches were released, helping to protect websites against attempts to exploit these vulnerabilities.

The necessary patches have now been applied across our main managed hosting environments. A small number of legacy environments remain protected by additional firewall measures while their updates are completed.

No action is required from our clients. We continue to monitor the situation and manage the necessary security measures on their behalf.

Belgravia Stone

Belgravia Stone is a bespoke stonemasonry specialist business based in York, producing high-end stone and marble work surfaces.

The challenge

Prior to partnering with Castlegate IT, Belgravia Stone had no active website. While their physical craftsmanship was of the highest caliber, their digital footprint was non-existent.

This was a significant barrier to the growth of the company. In the luxury interiors market, prospective clients and architects expect a professional online presence to assess quality before making contact.

Belgravia Stone required a platform that would generate high-quality enquiries while providing clear information about materials and services.

The solution

Castlegate IT worked closely with the client to translate their physical artistry into a digital showroom. We built a minimalist, high-end interface, focusing on visual rhythm and precise typography, allowing the products to speak for themselves without the distraction of aggressive sales tactics.

Designing a filterable catalogue, visitors are now able to explore different quartz, marble, and granite options, helping them identify suitable options before making an enquiry.

In order to filter out low-quality leads, we developed a custom ‘Get a Quote’ form, specifically designed to capture detailed project requirements, ensuring our client only spends time on serious, high-value inquiries.

The results

  • The new website provides Belgravia Stone with a confident and credible digital presence that reflects the quality of their work
  • The ‘Get a Quote’ form has become a central lead-generation tool, capturing detailed project requirements and supporting more focused enquiries
  • Clear structure and improved navigation help visitors explore materials, engage more effectively, and approach projects with greater confidence

Castlegate IT were great from the off. Having no experience at all in setting up websites, Jim immediately put us at ease with an initial interview where we met his team, who, incidentally, were the same people we dealt with from there on in. The whole Castlegate team were professional, courteous & a pleasure to work with. The finished site reflects exactly what we wanted for Belgravia Stone, and we noticed the positive impact almost immediately. A first-class service from a team who genuinely care. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone.
