Haxby Group
Haxby Group is a community-based healthcare organisation in Yorkshire. With 11 GP surgeries in York and Hull and a partnership with Central Healthcare in Scarborough, they provide high-quality care to over 92,000 patients.
The brief
As a local healthcare provider, Haxby Group needed a website that would present them as a reputable and professional organisation, but at the same time provide a welcoming and friendly port of call for service users. The site would need to provide information on the wide range of services offered by Haxby Group, and make it easy for visitors to get in touch or register with them.
The website
We wanted the visual design of the site to present Haxby Group as professional yet approachable. Haxby Group provides NHS services, so we emphasized this link with a blue and white colour scheme. At the same time, prominent branding and photographs of the Haxby Group team make it clear that they are an independent and friendly local organization. The site is uncluttered but contains all the information that a service user could need, as well as a number of ways to register or contact Haxby Group.
The result
Haxby Group’s new website provides a welcoming and informative experience for existing and prospective service users. The site guides users from all areas through the registration process, while carefully organised information and an intuitive navigation system mean visitors can be confident in finding the information they need.
