Wigs on the Green
Wigs on the Green was established in 2000, and is an omnium-gatherum of portrait miniatures, silhouettes, naïve art, and curios. They needed a new, professional website fully compatible with a range of devices and screen sizes.
We designed this site in-house with an eye to retaining the elegance and character of the miniatures. Likewise, whilst developing this site it was important to give plenty of attention to displaying the fine detail of the works on offer, and to provide a clear system of categorisation and enquiry for ease of browsing.
We built the site to give the client full control with bespoke WordPress templates. This is used to deliver and amend stock on show, fair and trade show dates and an informative journal of articles pertaining to obscure or little-known painters and interesting ephemera.
