The brief
Blenkin & Co wanted an eye-catching and entirely bespoke website that reflected the company’s innovation and experience whilst keeping the navigation simple. During the build, they were voted ‘Best Small Agent’ and requested that this award be integrated into the design.
The website
With a clear target audience in mind, we opted for a traditional design in keeping with Blenkin & Co’s premises on the bustling Georgian street of Bootham in York. Dark greens and serif typefaces provide a sophisticated backdrop for carefully chosen pictures of properties and the Blenkin & Co team. A considerately written ‘About’ section builds trust; showcasing the team as approachable people and experienced sellers.
Property listings on the website can be easily filtered by type, location and price; while seller discretion is assured by a private listings section which gives password-protected access to approved buyers. Other features include an Instagram feed, online registration and contact form to ensure the site reliably drives engagement.
The result
Through thoughtful design and photography, the new Blenkin & Co website presents the company as a reputable and experienced ‘boutique’ estate agency. Images of the team at work and on location at various sites throughout Yorkshire make the company seem immediately approachable, while also underscoring the quality of the properties on offer. An intuitive navigation system and range of contact options make it easy for visitors to immediately find what they need and get in touch with the team.
