Lancaster Samms

We built a new website for local estate agency Lancaster Samms. The site is built around high-quality photography of the agency’s flagship properties and iconic York locations, and it features a catalogue of properties which can be filtered by price. A straightforward navigation system and prominent contact links (along with a contact form page) mean that prospective customers can easily find the information they need when they visit the site.

Aspect4

Castlegate built a new website for property and construction consultants Aspect4. Despite the site containing a large amount of information, careful consideration of the user journey and site design meant that we were also able to achieve a fresh, contemporary look. The website design draws heavily on the clean aesthetics of the property and construction industries, while a gallery and intuitive navigation system provide a way for customers and site visitors to easily find the information they need.

Parlington Village

Parlington Village is a sustainable development project based in Leeds which aims to build a community based on garden village principles. Parlington approached Castlegate in need of a full branding update and a new website to match. We first modernised the existing logo by updating the typeface, removing unnecessary lines and tweaking the colour palette to reinforce the heritage feel of the project. We then built a new website to convey the quality of the project while delivering clear information on the scope of the plans.

Native Architects

Native Architects is a York-based architects firm specialising in individually designed and sustainable buildings with low-environmental costs. We were asked to build a new website for Native Architects, based on design elements which they created. The site incorporates a number of features including a news section, biography entries and a portfolio section where Native Architects can showcase their impressive projects to prospective clients. A team bio page adds a personal element to the site, while a contact form and interactive layout provide an engaging experience for the user.

Chromatics Glass

Chromatics Glass came to us for a complete brand overhaul and a new bespoke website to reflect the quality of their product. Chromatics’ manufacture a type of high-performance safety glass, so our design work was based on a key application: glass wrapping around the outside of a building.

We adapted the curved elements of the logo and used these to inform the website design. The website features an easily content-managed blog, as well as product-specific pages with featured projects. In addition to the logo and website, we produced new business cards and printed brochures for the company, designed around a striking powder-paint explosion image.
