Global Amphibians is a Community Interest Company dedicated to protecting amphibians and their habitats through a combination of research, conservation, and education.
The challenge
When they came to Castlegate, Global Amphibians had no visual branding, no website, and limited opportunities for generating income to support their conservation work.
They needed a distinct brand identity and an online presence to raise awareness of their cause and sustain their business through community outreach and sales of branded merchandise.
The solution
Castlegate delivered a combined creative and technical solution encompassing brand design, website development, and e-commerce functionality.
Drawing inspiration from organic shapes and amphibian markings, we developed a vibrant, versatile logo and a distinctive visual style which were incorporated throughout the website.
The site showcases Global Amphibians’ range of education programmes, from primary school activities up to university level seminars and field work, with clear next steps for enquiries.
Visitors can purchase hand-drawn greetings cards from an online shop, and there are links out to Global Amphibians’ Etsy store, facilitating two different routes to market.
